The offered triptych comes from the Eskimolied work group Ziervogels. Drawn in ink and gouache, these small-format works are inspired by the gestures and movements that occur when using touch screens. Interspersed with sometimes pornographic or vulgar search terms, the drawings tell of the secret abysses of the human condition.

Ralf Ziervogel’s often large-scale works have been shown at the Venice Art and Architecture Biennale, the Kunsthalle Wien, the Museum of Modern Art New York and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth/Texas, the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, the Deste Foundation Athens, the maison rouge in Paris, and the Pinakothek der Moderne Munich, among others. In 2018/19, Ziervogel’s largest solo exhibition to date was shown at the Deichtorhallen in Hamburg in the Falckenberg Collection.
