Niklas Weber is an interdisciplinary artist living in Berlin. In his freelance work, he seeks contrast with his work focusing on graphics and illustration under the alias Niklas Apfel. His large-scale canvases are created in dynamic, sports-like sessions in his studio K18. He is currently studying in the Hickmann class at the UdK Berlin. The abstracted and transformed representation of figures, sceneries and typography characterizes his approach. Niklas Apfel is currently working on his second video work, in which he combines music, graphics, and video. It takes a futuristic look at the techno subculture.
