"The structure is done ornamentally, because the ornament, which plays a central role on all continents, means continuity, variation and repetition at the same time. The ornament structures spatial, living movement on the surface. It was a mistake to find any crime in ornament, a mistake of modernity that wanted to break with a continuum perceived as obsolete, understandably, with class society, backwardness, dependence on the benevolence of the gods.
