Bianca Kennedy (geb. 1989, Leipzig) schafft mit Video, Mixed Reality, Fotografie und Zeichnung Parallelwelten, indem sie gegensätzliche Kontexte umwandelt oder neu kombiniert. In der Fotoarbeit “Fig Factory”(2017) inszeniert Kennedy selbst gebaute Miniaturen im Umland Athens. Das Betongebäude auf transparenten Stehlen ist mit der umliegenden Natur verbunden und der Mensch aus dem visuellen Raum verbannt. Es bleibt offen, wer wen speist: Ist der überdimensionale Kaktus Energielieferant oder wird die urbane Welt langsam von der Natur zurückerobert?
