"O-Town House is a gallery in LA where I had my first-ever solo exhibition in March 2020, but the reception was canceled as it was the first day of lockdown in LA. We had a small private opening and in the kitchen I took this still life."
"The poem Dirt under my nails I wrote for Queer Correspondance, a part of Cell Project Space, London. It will also be featured in my first-ever book that will be published with Long Tang Zurich in September 2021. It’s about my delusional life, where I cannot step out of the addiction." David Lindert
David Lindert (*1992 in Czech Republic) considers himself a visual poet. He studied Portugese studies and literature at Charles University in Prague and is currently mainly based in Berlin. Deploying an autobiographical approach, the works mirror, process and translate his daily experiences. Recurring themes include new centrury illnesses, fear of future, boredom, OCD, anxiety, alienation, vulnerability, sex and substance addiction, as well as overprotective parenting.
In 2020, Lindert participated in the Tom of Finland’s residency in Los Angeles.
