One of them was portrayed according to the beauty standards of Western society and the other one as an intelligent nerd, and both tried to get the same young man’s attention. As a result, internalized misogyny has deepened for decades, with young people growing up with the idea that they should be different from the other women while putting them down.
This phenomenon is placed in the context of social media, where the others are the bodies that exist in the real world.
