Qixuan Lexi Sun (b.1993) is a Chinese multidisciplinary artist and photographer currently based in Berlin. Throughout her practice, she focuses on a collaboration based approach, combining installation, performance, photography, and moving image. Within her work, she draws inspiration from questions around queer Identity, cultural and societal codings in theory and in combination with personal experiences.
Lexi holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Photography and Philosophy at Central Saint Martins in London in 2018. Over the past few years she participated in exhibitions at Tate Exchange, Tate Liverpool, Lethaby Gallery, Folkestone Fringe, Everyman&Playhouse, HKW and FACT Liverpool. Her photographic work by Vogue, Los Angeles Times, Interview Germany and i-D China.
